Enactment of this bill appropriates $150,000 one-time from the General Fund to the newly created Property Loss Related to Homelessness Compensation Enterprise Fund in FY 2026. Enactment could cost the Department of Workforce Services (DWS) $150,000 one-time from the newly created Property Loss Related to Homelessness Compensation Enterprise Fund in FY 2026, of which $6,000 would be for personnel to administer the program and $144,000 would be used for grants. Enactment of this legislation could cost the Division of Finance from the General Fund $800 one-time in FY 2025 and $1,800 ongoing in FY 2026 to create and maintain the fund.
