Enactment of this legislation could cost the Department of Health and Human Services $300 one-time in FY 2026 and $2,100 ongoing in FY 2027, both from the General Fund to implement the provisions of this bill, specifically staffing and supporting the life-saving organization coalition and working with the Division of Wildlife Resources to maintain organ donor information on their website. The Department has indicated that it can absorb these costs within its existing budget
