Enactment of this legislation could cost the State Board of Education $77,900 ongoing and $50,000 one-time from the Income Tax Fund beginning in FY 2027 to develop Artificial Intelligence (AI) standards, Local Education Agency technology requirements, a model policy for technology and AI use, and reporting requirements as outlined in the bill.
