Enactment of this bill appropriates $3,500,000 one-time from the Public Education Economic Stabilization Restricted Account in FY 2027 to the State Board of Education to implement and contract with the University of Utah for the Dyslexia pilot program outlined in the bill. The funds will be used over the course of the four-year pilot program. This legislation assumes the transfer of $3,500,000 one-time in FY 2027 from the Uniform School Fund to the Public Education Economic Stabilization Restricted Account.
