Enactment of this legislation could have a net cost to the Courts of $2,522,000 in FY 2027 and $1,330,500 ongoing in FY 2028 for administering enhanced audio recording/recording/posting requirements, IT system changes for public accessibility, annual financial disclosure processing for state and local judicial officers, and to replace reduced fee collections with General Fund resources. The impact breakdown is as follows: 1. General Fund - $1,366,500 ongoing and $1,330,500 one-time beginning in FY 2027; and 2. Dedicated Credits - ($175,000) ongoing reduction beginning in FY 2027.
