Enactment of this legislation could cost the Department of Health and Human Services $4,100 one-time from the General Fund in FY 2026 for costs related to developing the training curriculum prescribed in the bill. The Department would also be required to update the curriculum every 3 years at an estimated cost of $200 when updated. The Department has indicated that it can absorb this cost within existing budgets.
