Enactment of this legislation could result in the expenditure of $102,000 General Fund ongoing for the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) for personnel services to manage the contracts with Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs). Additionally, this legislation could cost the Department of Finance $900 one-time in FY 2026 and $1,900 ongoing in FY 2027 from the General Fund to create and manage the new Senior Nutrition Private Donation Matching Fund. Enactment could also result in a one-time FY 2026 General Fund transfer of $437,500 from DHHS into the new Senior Nutrition Private Donation Matching Fund.
