Enactment of this legislation appropriates $500,000 one-time from the Income Tax Fund in FY 2027 for hazardous transportation costs. Enactment could also cost the State Board of Education $34,800 one-time from the Income Tax Fund in FY 2027 to administer grants for hazardous transportation routes as outlined in the bill.
