Enactment of this legislation would appropriate $4.5 million one-time in FY 2027 from the Income Tax Fund to the Utah Board of Higher Education and $4.5 million one-time in FY 2027 from the Public Education Economic Stabilization Restricted Account to the Utah State Board of Education to administer outcome-based grants. This legislation assumes the transfer of $4.5 million one-time in FY 2027 from the Uniform School Fund to the Public Education Economic Stabilization Restricted Account.
